Adjacent Parcel Scanner
Use official Brevard parcel geometry to screen for parcels touching the saved lot boundary.
Open Adjacent Parcel Scanner →Show instructions
When to use it
Use it before manually researching neighboring owners or entering a target parcel into the assemblage calculator.
How to use it
- Select a saved lot under Expand My Holdings.
- Click Scan Adjacent Parcels. The animated scanner appears only while a real GIS request is running.
- Review the subject parcel schematic and returned candidates.
- A result labeled Adjacent Parcel indicates GIS boundary contact; a Nearby Candidate must be independently verified as adjacent.
- Select Use in Assemblage Calculator to transfer parcel ID, address, acreage, and county market context into the planning model.
- Enter your own proposed purchase price; county value is not treated as an asking price.
What the result means
The scanner reduces manual parcel hunting and creates a starting point for an assemblage analysis.
Important limitation
GIS geometry is screening information, not a survey, boundary opinion, access determination, buildability determination, or proof that two parcels can be legally combined.
