When to use it

Use it when you are considering more frontage, more acreage, additional privacy, development flexibility, control of neighboring land, or an assemblage strategy.

How to use it

  1. Select the saved property you already own.
  2. Enter the original acquisition cost and acreage for the existing property.
  3. Scan adjacent parcels or manually enter the target parcel/address, proposed purchase price, acreage, acquisition costs, and market context.
  4. The blended acquisition figures update automatically as inputs change.
  5. Use Refresh Blended Acquisition Cost only as a manual fallback.
  6. Review combined cost per lot/acre and possible assemblage benefits before deciding whether to ask REK to explore the acquisition.

What the result means

The tool shows combined acquisition cost and blended economics so an owner who bought the original lot inexpensively can evaluate the total position rather than looking only at today’s price for the next lot.

Important limitation

Blended acquisition cost is not tax basis. Market context is not an appraisal. Adjacent ownership does not prove parcels can legally be combined or developed together.
